How do I fix this problem?

Hi the problem I have is when I download and install most things from download station they dont work properly. What happens is the icon of for example zig zag rail C17 shows up but when I click on the icon to preview it in the preview box it doesnt show up and I can't add it either . Can anyone help me please? Thanks. Oh and it is for TRS2004.

Your problem is related, most likely, to missing dependencies or faulty content. You can see this in Content Manager. Here are the icon descriptions you may find helpful in determining where the problem lies.

Missing Dependencies ---- Yellow gear with a question mark
Broken Dependencies ---- Red gear with a question mark
Faulty Content ---- Red exclamation point
Warning ---- Yellow exclamation point.

Missing items can be any part of the asset that is needed from bogies to engine sounds.

A broken dependency is one that has a fault. You need to fix faulty content in order to make anything work properly. This is done using various tools by PEVSoftware. Peter Viallaume was very kind to create these tools for us. He's active in the community here and is a great resource for issues such as this.

Once the faulty and missing items are taken care of, your asset will appear in the program properly.
