If you are using TS12 the remove missing assets usually does not work.
If you are using TS12 the remove missing assets usually does not work. If it is an item that cannot be found what I have been doing is to copy a know asset that is good change the kuid to the missing one and the assetname to 'Missing' in its config.txt and import it. Then I go find the item in surveyor and remove it from the route. When done I delete the "missing" asset in CM.
This is the only way I know that works with HF3, however, be careful on your replacement, make sure you replace with the same "kind" & "category-class" or you might run into problems.

Description:
Unfortunately there is no way currently to mass delete an item in surveyor which you no longer want on your layout. You can only mass replace using the “Replace Assets” function. This very small low poly (24 triangles) invisible marker can be used in conjunction with the “Replace Assets” function in Surveyor mode to mass replace something you no longer want on your layout but can't seem to get rid of because there are too many of them to just manually delete one at a time. This method will work with any content item shown in the Objects Tab (Object mode only) in Surveyor. This method will not work with splines.
It's really kinda nice you can go around and repalce unwanted assets with this, when they fix what they broke with SP1, you can then delete this asset go into the route and then do the delete missing assets. Should clear them all out then.

This request has been made in the Suggestion Boxcar. N3V seems interested too in it. Yay!
I'll have to look for this asset.
