How can I back up my Route and my session

I am creating a new route and I want to learn how can I back up the route the session the trains and all of the other assets easily .I needed to reinstall the windows and I lost my previous five months work route.Thanks

I just save the route and session(s) to a CDP file in CM and email it to myself. It won't include the content itself in the case of a major system crash, but that's why you back up Trainz in it's entirety from time to time.

Of course, if you still want to back up just the dependencies for your route, right-click on your route or session, show dependencies, then click the option to view dependencies in main list. The select them all and save them to a CDP.

There is no way Yahoo Mail could handle a 567 Mb CDP route ( such as mine), for E-Mail, which has a limit of 10 Mb.

Back Up your route CDP on an external 500Gb-1Tb Hard Drive ... or save it on a RW-DVD which holds 467 Gb

In TS2010, all of your created content as well as everything you've downloaded is stored in the ..\Auran\TS2010\UserData folder. If you periodically save it you won't lose a thing.

Hi All: Click on "save as" in surveyor, save to CDP..Then set up a folder "saved layouts"..Then drag it from CDP and put into the folder..
