Hotshot Intermodal trainz

So I've been reading on random forums on how to build a hotshot intermodal train, specifically JB Hunt, UPS, Shnider (<---I'm sure I spelled that wrong). Seems like lots of guys have been going thru all kinds of processes with the config file and a few other ways that I've read. (If you have any other ideas, feel free to post them) but I've got a different idea. Not sure if it work or not, but... Let's say you wanna do a JB Hunt container train using 48ft and 53ft containers. Couldn't you just clone the 48 & 53ft containers that contain a JB Hunt skin, give it a JB Hunt name, edit in explorer, and delete or remove any other skins except JB Hunt and/or a skin that could be used as a leased container?? And possibly clone the PL Warehouse Industry and add the JB Hunt containers to the cloned industry??

-Pretty soon, your not going to have to worry about this. I haven't formally announced it yet, but I've been in the process of updating all my intermodal assets. Here a couple pics to show my 53 ft. updates.

-All my containers have been updated, just need more skins. I plan on setting up assets so you can run prototypical stack trains. New container models will also be introduced, like the smooth and ribbed sided types. More wellcars, etc.
-I'm not trying to stop you from doing your own thing, but just letting you know, if you use my assets, this will soon be taken care of and you shouldn't have to do anything, except for the industry stuff you described.

Those look really nice!! Are these the same containers JR hosts? It was just an idea I had cuz I noticed there was a few people out there wanting to run JB Hunt, UPS stack trains. I might do it. IT would be pretty easy to do. Lots of others were talkin about messin with the conflicts and attachment points and what not. If you had an industry that only contained that JB Hunt, UPS product, you wouldn't need special cars.

I spy a ULINE JB Hunt container...booo haha

I had redone mine ( yes all the JR stuff) to load only certain carriers containers since the RR's are pretty much partnerships between 2 or more companies on intermodal movements. This is how mine are setup at the moment and I believe how Joe will set his up here in the coming releases ( we've talked on this)

NS/BNSF- Loads only Hub Group, EMP, Swift, JB Hunt, UPSU ( UPS's new 53' ctr fleet)
UP/CSX- Loads only UMAX, CSX Intermodal, STAX , Pacer, Schneider National, UPSU ( UPS's new 53' ctr fleet)

Im sure im missing a company or two here on one of these but it gives you the general idea. Makes for a more proto consist depending on who your running.

I really havent seen CN/CP so i cant really comment on what they run but the above takes care of the big US 4 so thats what i focused on.

Awesome! Thank you. I will be taken this into consideration :)

Well I got a JB Hunt, Swift, & Schnieder Truck Hub going. I can see why others went thru the processes that they went thru... its the only way it'll work lol

So I'm guessing the old ones are your creations tho? If so, may I use the 48' and 53' containers in a PL industry to be hosted on a small site ( http://nwtrainssimulators.wix.com/northwesttrainzsimulators ) that a couple friends and I run. I will Not mess with the skins color or texture, we just want some prototypical consists

-Yes the old ones are my creations. They were some of the first models I ever made. Trainz was lacking intermodal badly.
-And sure, I don't see why not. I create for everyone to enjoy. I most appreciate the people who ask first. But just keep in mind, all my old containers are soon to be obsoleted. I've been skinning them three days straight now lol.

Great!! Thank you!! I'm gonna look up the kuid number for the containers that I used to make sure I got the right guy lol. I just don't wanna mess up and post someone else's stuff and have someone get mad at me. That is not my intention at all. I just wanna help make more content available to the community. I'm at work using my phone right now so I don't know what the kuid is exactly of the containers I used but I do know they are the 53ft Weathered Containers on Jointed Rails site.

Joe, it was brought to my attention that you are the guy I'm lookin for. And I thank you for your permission to let me do this.

Just curious here... but when you mean "only loads" is that for a certain part of the country? I live in central Montana and the stack trains aren't as common as they are in some parts of the nation so I figured the best way to see what and who loads what was on YouTube. I found a few BNSF stack trains loaded with Schneider containers. Were there videos filmed because of they're rare?

-What yutzk is saying is, the RR's probably have contracts with certain companies so they only carry their containers / products. So, in other words, if you are wanting to run your consists realistically, go by what yutzk is saying. So if your going to run a BNSF intermodal train, then technically, your train should only consist ofhub, emp, swift, jb hunt, upsu, etc.
-Hope this helps.

Ok thanks. But shouldn't Schneider be included on the list for BNSF? I see they run movements at a Schneider Terminal in Washington. I think in UP territory.

BNSF runs the Z-CHCSSE, Z-CHCPTL, Z-SSECHC, and Z-PTLCHC with JB Hunt, Swift, Schneider, UPSZ, CSX, and occasionally BNSF and England containers, with FedEx, UPS, JB Hunt, Schneider, Swift, Yellow, Roadway, ABF, US Express, and those trailers with the big yellow E on them, usually 28 footers and 53 footers.

Here is a video on my youtube of how the Z's usually run out here in Washington.
