I actually hold my images in my PC and on an external hard drive.

I only put sharing ones in the gallery.

Transferring from PC to Gallery is easy.

its a lower res, plus everyone can see what you are working on, i mean thats great for catching payware traders. but if you dont want someone too see something that we are working on your screwed

Whether it's lower res on not I can't tell but it's certainly better than not being there. These free hosting sites may all vanish who knows.
Why would you show a screenshot of a secret project or didn't you mean that.

because i work with a group of people, we help each other and ask for feed back, we share screenshots all the time. but of course we have our own image hosting ;).

With every single billions of millions of people posting: "Video's of their child eating their first Cheerios, on a sticky wet finger", on YouTube ... you would think their database would be completely full .... I wish each, and every upload, to be deleted from "all uploads worldwide", from all image database's, and YouTube ... Erase everything, and start over from scratch, every 365 days !

Use N3V Trainz Gallery.

Well other than having to upload each file individually and get the address for each file individually and enter each address individually in the post. At least it retains the original size. (sometimes, I have not been able to duplicate this performance with other screenshots)

All the suggested replacements for hostthenpost are suitable for iphones but pretty much worthless for 1920X1080 on a 25" monitor.

Norm
i love your screenshots it's just a pity they are all gone.
There may be downsides with Trainz Gallery but at least it is safe.

Using "postimage" 1280 x 720 . Tried to use 1600 x 1200 but still came out as 1280 x 720?????

I never did understand HTP's business model: offer valuable service but don't even display ads on the submissions page. What, was it the CIA hoping to glom terrorist secret messages encoded in JPEGs and their budget was just zeroed?

Oh, well... all my HTP sourcing is labeled "May expire." Guess it just did. :(

OK, let's see how this works.. (N3V)

Just grabbing a recent image:

Experiment---500x-ES2.jpg

That seems to work, but I'm not going back to replace all the HTP images in my posts! :'(
