Hornby Track Plan 7th Edition Layout L

This was my Hornby track layout from when I was 9 years old - 18 years old. I had hours of fun on it watching a BR Class 90 working a freight train and an Intercity 125 (Swallow Livery) and LNER Flying Scotsman work the passenger trains. I am going to be recreating this layout in Trainz 06. Should hopefully have the main track laid today, then work on the finer details.

Good luck. I've done a couple of model railroads as you are doing yours. It's a bit easier I think than trying to measure everything out. I assume you're using the old image maps to hold your track plan. They are very useful for things like this.

Not found the book with this layout in, so doing everything from memory, and the image. All track is laid (not to scale) but it is actually a fun layout.

Wish I could find the Hornby Track Plans c.1976-77. The 'ultimate' plan in there was my fantasy model railway and I'd love to do it in Trainz.
