Hit 100Mb per day download limit with First Class ticket in TS2012?

I don't know if I missed some setup trick, but after seeing there was a Darjeeling-Himalaya route in another thread I went to download it via content manager, and got the red bar up after 100Mb downloads. And yet, when I go to my profile and examine my tickets, I have an FCT active, valid until the middle of next year. Does anybody know what's happened here? I've patched to the latest non-multi TS2012, and I am certain I've previously downloaded more than 100Mb in a day when updating and getting some UK stuff. I've obviously got tjhe right password saved as the downloads worked up till that 100Mb limit.

If you tried to download any large route with lots of dependencies on the same day you activated your first class ticket, you could be trying too early.

It can take 24 hours to go through the system and start to work. Try again to morrow.

I've had this ticket for several months, it's valid until July 2014, there's no activate button showing alongside it so I must have already activated it. I've had to raise a support ticket for this now, Thanks for your advice.

I run into this problem now and then and I've chalked it up to the awful network at school. Sometimes no problem, but other days 100 mb limit. Only that works SOMETIMES, but not always, reset name and password and this works about 50% of the time .

I'm not sure Shane, because the ticket dates from July last year, given that it's a 12-month ticket and expires in July 2014, so whatever I did then is lost in the misty past. All I know is there's no activate button against it when I go to look at my tickets.

The response to the support ticket I raised has advised me to allow 24 hours for Trains and CM to pick up on the ticket becoming fully activated.

I've had this problem with a lifetime FCT and this is what Zec said:

Please try running a quick database repair in Content Manager.

To do this, first remove all items from the downloads queue, then go to 'file', and then click on 'quick database repair'. Once the repair has completed, please restart Content Manager, and then try downloading again.

Please note, do not run an extended database repair, as this may reset your download permissions to non First Class access for up to 24 hours.

The problem went away the next day.

Paul, I hope you;re right, I've just done the QDR, and now apparently I need to wait for 24 hours?

I was coming back to the post to update it with the following: After a reply from the support desk telling me to wait 24 hours to be sure my FCT was activated, I had tried and yet again hit the 100Mb limit in TS2012, but when I started TS2010 and checked, I could still download in the CM, so how could this be?

Fingers crossed.

Check that with TS12 closed, there is nothing lurking in the UserData\Cache\Internet folder, occasionally things get stuck in there, deleting the contents might help.

I finally installed 2012 and been updating content etc....and then ugh ya I did the edr and same thing now 100mb limit

The problem must be linked to the database being repaired so it doesn't apply to your other installations. I don't download that much as a rule but if I download a route that tends to go well above the 100mb limit.

Well, even after a second reply to the support ticket telling me they have reset my FCT, I still hit a 100Mb limit in TS2012, although I can go into TS2010 and download as much as I want. I've tried the quick database repair, with no success.
