High Speed Trains In The USA?

By the way, the route from LA to Vegas does not go over the Sierra Nevada Mountains. I don't know what the mountains are called but it uses Cajon Pass.
The route from Sacramento to Reno goes over the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Trainz lovers tell me you wouldn't want to experience this in America.

Leave the price tag alone because we know a High Speed Rail system like this will not pay itself off, Just like airlines they dont buy Airplanes they lease them. I would know this because my Uncle is in Aerospace industry and he has told me that no Airline could buy an airplane they don't make enough to pay for it. Who thinks that when that major Airlines go bankrupt the the Government will step in and create a Government Airline called "Conair Airlines" because that is happened to the railroad why they started to go bankrupt.

Also another thing, America is coming back to rail because As of 3/5/13 Amtrak made enough to pay for 88% of operating cost. If this keeps happening Amtrak may be able to afford their own HSR line with out help(Joke:hehe:).
Proof

Also I think that a HSR line is coming to the Northeast, the figures show it. Who knew that Penn Station handles more passenger in a day the all three Major Airports(JFK, LGA, EWR) Handle in a year! Food for thought.

It's kind of like a Ferrari - sure I'd love to experience one, but I can't afford one, and it's really not worth the money even if I had it.

Unfortunately, 88% isn't 100%, let alone >100% (aka profit.)

HSR is worth the cost, we know it will not pay itself off but it increases the quality of life. Which is worth the cost. That is what the interstate did so why can't HSR.

Airlines profits don't match their operating cost that is why their going bankrupt and merging, if Amtrak is getting 88% from ticket sales this must mean Rail is coming back and or Amtrak is really doing something well. Also the operating cost of Amtrak in about 3 Billion. So About 88% of 3 Billions is 2.64 Billion dollars. That is alot from just Ticket sales. And also you are one hard Anti-HSR Troll.
