High Platforms

Does anyone know of any good platforms that are higher than most of the standard ones in Trainz? I'm trying to find one that will be level with the height of the cars- see picture below.

The platform above is called "UK Modern Utility platform 3m" and it's one of the few I use that's high enough, besides stacking two lower platforms on top of each other to get the correct height.

In the States, what do you mean by 'high?' - this can vary from country to country. Here in the UK, the standard Trainz UK platforms are 1.3 metres above ground level, and I make mine 4 feet 3 inches when I work in what we call 'imperial'. In many parts, eg. continental Europe, this would be higher than the standard.

WHat is the canopy in the shot??

And,
What is the area in the middle??

Most UK and Australian platforms are that kind of height - try platforms by andi06 and tempest70 amongst many others. It really depends what style of platorm you are looking for - brick or concrete, asphalt or block surface.

What about raising the platforms slightly and putting a concrete slab underneath. Would that work?]

My UK platforms (KUID 275817) are all 51" (4.25 feet) high which is only slightly more than you are looking for, dtdb, and they were made this height because it apeared to be the UK standard in Trainz. I suggest that any of the UK and other platforms of a similar height might suit your needs - three inches is not that great a difference. If you don't want the prototypical UK end slope, there are splines and trackside objects which do not have them.
