Help with getting CMP to show latest assets from DLS

Recently my CM is not displaying the new content from the DLS and says nothing to display can someone help me fix this?
Also is there a way to get trainz to update the asset database like when after one installs a new patch? That usually solves the problem with the dls updating with the latest added content for download but I can't seem to trainz to perform that task lately?

Try this:

- Go into Content Manager and delete you username and password, save and exit

- Go to Planet Auran and change you password (you can use the same one) save and exit.

- Leave for 15 minutes.

- Go to CM and enter your username and password, save and exit.

- Try DLS now.

If this does not work then raise a fault with the Helpdesk to reset your account.

I would also suggest you do a quick database repair as well. This can sometimes bring the database back into synch.

As you haven't mentioned which Trainz version you are having issues with, this may or may not apply (for TRS2006, you won't get much new if anything anyway).

This means the program is busy and it cant respond back to. The message is obvious... however, this can also indicate there's an issue somewhere with the program, or with your computer system.

If you just finished a DB-repair then this is most likely due to validation going on. Let the system finish up the validation finishes. This can take a few hours or longer, depending upon how much data you have.

I did just finish updating the trainz asset database with about 333000+ assets how long should that take?

A very long time...

@ 3/4s of a second per asset and each one is validated individually, it's about 4-1/2 hours on my system. Without knowing the specs on your system, it could be about this, more or less. Your mileage will vary...

Let it run overnight and do the other part tomorrow.

That's a decent system... What's left of your disk space? That can impact performance due to temporary file space needed for operation.
