Help with DSt, please

I'm new here and I can't figure out how Download Station works.

I think I signed on correctly. I get the "Welcome Back" message.

Then I search for what I want. I am particularly interested in sessions for TRS2006.

But when I click on anything that says download, I'm just sent right back to the "Welcome Back" and Search options page.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but what am I doing wrong? How can I download a session?

Thanks for any help!

Support for TRS2004 and, I believe, TRS2006 ended in September and unless you register a later version you will no longer have access to the Download station.

Some of us (former) 2004 creators are thinking of uploading content to an independent web site to which you will have access to so keep watching the Forum.

I think the only way you can access it is by buying a First Class Ticket which is 20 quid or so a year. I could be wrong though.

pfx is correct - you could buy a First Class Ticket or a later version of Trainz. I now have 2009 and 2010 but can still access 2004 content by ticking the 2004 box on the DLS main screen - also any earlier versions - as a lot of the earlier content can be used with the later versions.

Have a read of this page: http://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/i...e-Cycle_Policy

It will explain all

Thanks for the replies.

Can you suggest any other sites that may now have TRS2006 sessions available for download?

I see this morning that the page I suggested is not available for some reason. However, a search in the Forums will reveal more information on the ending of support for various versions of Trainz.

As I see it, there are two choices:

Buy a FCT for one year, with faster downloads.
Buy TRS2009, which will give you access to the DLS for several years but slower downloads. At present, this is sold in the UK for about £7.50

Thanks, Bob.

I have taken a look at Razorback Railway. It is a great site.

I REALLY like that you get a personal performance report after each run. This is something that should be included in every train sim.

But the Razorback sessions have this huge circle on the external view screen. I'm told that it represents the dead man's switch.

And that ruins the whole experience for me. That floating circle takes away the reality of the game.

Are you aware of any way to hide just that circle?

Yes, my earlier reply seems to have been misleading.

Since I acquired 2009 and 2010, my automatic tick in the DLS opening screen has disappeared from the 2004 box but still appears in the 2006 box and upwards - and I can tick the 2004 box and find my own content which is all 2004.

However, if one had nothing later than 2006, would this still be so?
