Help With Download

Can anybody help? I have a registered copy of Trainz 2010 on two disks that I previously had installed before a format. Now when I come to re install it tells me that the disk is corrupt and I can’t get it to install. Is there anywhere that I can get an electronic download and still use my serial number?

Not likely, serial numbers are specific to each copy so you would have to buy the download version and register it with that new serial number. Although you could use the same username and password.

Things to try, get a cleaning disk kit and clean the drive itself, also make sure you're not trying to install the DVD in a CD drive. Check the face of the DVD, if it's not badly scratched it might be just dirty. Wet a tissue or kleenex, something soft that won't scratch, wipe the disk gently in an outward motion from the center. After it's clean and dry try it again.

Try copying the contents of the disk to hard drive and installing from there.

Thanks I have tried that but no joy. I’ll just go for Trainz12. Many thanks for your interest and suggestions.
