Help with CMP files

Recently, I've been using TRS2006 to import the Train Driver items into TS12. Unfortunately, CDP files now go into TRS2006 instead of TS12 when I click on them. How do I change it back?

Content Manager's help won't give you an answer on it, as it involves a registry edit. My Trainz Protocol Changer will do the job, but you will need to read my blog to find out how it works and where to get it.

P.S. You may be able to fix it simply by running TS12's Content Manager.

Thanks for the help. Also, I tried the second option before making this topic, but it didn't help.

Well, let ME thank you once again Shane, for all your great tuts and other very useful info and the 23 and 1/2 hours a day you spend helping others!

Cheers......Rick

I know it's been two years, but unfortunately Shane, although I PMed you about it, your website is currently offline. Is there another way to get the required program?

Ive just responded to your PM - the site is currently working although it does seem to suffer intermittent issues due to an unknown reason.

The answer is very simple. After making cdp's, start TS12 content manager from the desktop icon, close it, then double click on the cdp files. The cpd's will then be opened (imported) in TS12 CM. What ever version was closed before double clicking will be the one that is opened by the double click.
