Help to fix downloads

Hello. I down loaded some locos today from a freeware site. It was the first time I have ever downloaded anything in Trainz. They are no doubt for 2006 and I have 2010 but I understand they will run in 2010 if I can fix them. In Content manager three items have a yellow jig saw piece alongside them with a question mark in it, and one has a red exclamation mark along side it. Each unit appears in the Surveyor though each is in red and cannot be placed on track.
The ones with the yellow jigsaw are USRA light 2-10-2 Kuid 96914:47... USRA 2-8-8-2 Kuid 96914:47....NZR Ka Class Oil tender kuid 69858:19... and the Red exclamation mark is NZR Ka class Coal tender 69858:15...
Is there anyone out there who can help me and instruct me what to do next?

I also have a few yellow exclamation marks but those locos seem to function OK. Cheers

The jigsaw piece means that you are missing dependencies. The red jigsaw means that some dependencies are faulty/have errors and the exclamation mark means that the object is faulty or has errors. With the USRA locos, download the common files file from the website you got it from. In Content Manager Plus, right-click on the trains that have missing dependencies and click on view dependencies. If any are on the DLS, download them.

I went back ot the site where I git the USRA locos forn and ther are no common files that I can see for them so I downloaded them again and went through tthe process but with the same problem. When I right click on them and attempt to download the missing dependencies I get the message in Red
'Unable to download. Couldnt obtain a download URL. Item cannot be found on download station' I have identified the missing dependencies and tried to do a search for them in Content Manager independently but still get the same result. Where am I likely to find them and How? Cheers

First thing to try is a Google search for each missing dependancy by KUID number and also by name.

If you find some of them this might give you a pointer to websites where others can be found.

I have a list of most of bdaneals kuids. List the kuid numbers of the missing dependencies that you need and I can probably tell you where to get them.

Go to the Downloads-Generics page and scroll down. There should be a file called USRA cab. Download that if you have not done so already. This should provide the cab if you do not have it already.
