I'm pretty sure we can assist you in fixing your problem, but we need some details. I won't make any 100% guarantees, knowing how weird computers can be.

What are the hardware specs in your machine?
Processor, video, diskspace, RAM, etc.

Did Trainz pass TrainzDiag?

I noticed you have a video loaded from YouTube. I'm not sure if this could contribute to the problem, but I sure wouldn't run Trainz with it loaded. In fact when I run Trainz, nothing else is running except for my A/V product, which I don't turn off anyway. The reason is Trainz is very resource hungry and anything else that competes with resources can cause programs such as this to fail.

So post your machine details and we'll see what we can do to help.

I "second" and stress John's comments. I have a fairly high end machine and if I want Trainz (TC3)n to run trouble free, I shut down the virus check program. I have also configured a number of programs not to update automatically as they have "crashed" Trainz periodically. Sometimes I even disable my Internet connection as there always seems to be some program that wants to do something on its own!!!

I notice you are using Vista. Search the threads for help as you have to alter the .EXE files to Administrator. Memory might not be enough If you have Aero turned on.

Reinstalled and worked fine.

BTW I often have things like Youtube or Windows Media player running and Trainz's performance is not affected.
