Well that was a great help. Its going to be a dead forum when people are not allowed to ask for help and ask for missing content. so i like to see you stop the Trainz community helping each other to get there missing content so they can have a complete route. haha. TJ
Tonny,
I don't mind having a quick look thru;
http://www.trainzkuidindex.com/ for ya
(that's because I assume you can get to that site). Entered the above five kuids and posted the results in #10. Not very helpful, but that was all that came up!!!
One thing you could do is try and let us know what the kuids are part of. Eg: particular route, dependency for this loco, or that rolling stock, etc.
Having spent some time in China, I have a reasonable understand of the internet restrictions you are face with, filters, etc, etc that the Chinese Gov't have in play.
Not to sure about some of the reactions of fellow Trainzers in this thread. It's not is tho you have pirated copies of Trainz, haven't been around trianz for longer than a decade, etc... You served your five year Trainz apprenticeship
(like me) a long time ago...
Me, my own view on e-mailing a fellow Trainzer a
non payware kuid is no big deal. "Certainly not a hang-able offense". If the owner/creator of the kuid has put the kuid on a freeware web site, so that anyone & everyone can download it, what's the big deal if a fellow Trainzer e-mails it to another Trainzer, particularly if that fellow Trainzer has restriction put on his/her internet connection that are out of their control...
I would have thought the owner/creator of the kuid would be delighted with his/her freeware creation/s that he/she made for anyone & everyone to enjoy, is getting the kuid out to the wider Trainz community and used by more Trainzers...
Wasn't that the reason why he/she put it out in the public domain in the first place...
(Theses are my own personal views are not he views of the NZ Gov't or my sponsors). :hehe:
Good luck with finding them.
Cheers, Mac...
Foot note; Over the last 13+ years I have downloaded thousands and thousands of kuids from 3rd party sites. I have over 3000+ missing kuids in my 887gig Trainz TS2010 & 1000+ missing kuids in my 330gig TS2012 49922. I would soon get shoot down in flames if I started asking the community for help in finding hundreds of these missing kuids.
What I'm saying here is I don't mind helping someone if they are reasonable with their requests. Eg; finding 10-15 kuids a month, not 10-15 kuids a day... Cheers....
