Help please with missing dependencies

Everything was fine yesterday.
No downloads have been performed.
This morning I have over 295 items with missing dependencies.

I have checked whats missing and everything I have looked at the assett is looking for the original Kuid number instead of Kuid2 which is installed.

I'm at a loss as how to rectify this as I don't want to try and correct everything manually.

I have performed an EDR this morning but nothing has changed.

Question is why has it done this and how can I put it right?

From memory, this has been the case in CM for a while if an asset has specified a particular version of a dependency and it's not installed on your machine. However, it will use the latest version of the dependency that you have installed in-game.

That's the point Shane. All the missing dependencies are installed on my machine but as KUID2 and the assett is just looking for the original kuid.

There may not be much you can do about that one in that case. Does the content in question work in-game?

No. As soon as I try to open the loco tab on the right the game freezes.
Something must have happened last night as I have seen one or two other posts with the same problem.

I am having the EXACT same issue (noted here: http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?108299-How-dumb-is-trainz-and-CM3-7)...

Kuid2 installed, but CM looking for original kuid as an update. This is causing a lot of my content to not be available due to missing dependencies.

At least I can report another instance of this happening for a fellow Trainz player.

I've noticed them as well - just trying to work out any correlation between the issues.

I've tried deleting the affected assets and downloading again but the result is just the same.

I've just had a thought - do either of you have any assets that were updated yesterday either already updated or on the Content Updates list?

I haven't updated anything today but I have noticed in the main screen I normally have 151 assetts out of date that can't be updated, but I now have 168 assetts out of date.

At work (don't tell anyone I'm in the forums! ), so I can't look first hand. As I remember, I did update 5 assets last night, but none of them were the ones that are currently showing out of date or updates available. Can check further when I get to the house.

Guys see the other Thread, think its linked to DLC, all mine has gone non usable as if I never had it, I always run online so unless the DRM server has thrown a wobbler it should be working. http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?108300-Kuids-hiding-(Version-3-7-Build-61388)
