help please: Some of my trees are acting weird: defoliated, wintered-over.

I installed some trees on my route yesterday and they were all green now they are frosted.

I have my Environment set for JUly and my region set for the United States. Some of the trees are green but others are frosted.

How about something really off the wall. Are the trees that are frosted native to Australia? if so, their seasons are reversed from the Northern hemisphere.

Well, some of the trees that were built-in to the Mojave route got inadvertently frosted too, not just the trees I added to my farm. I have my season set for a North American summer. I have my region set to United States.

Have you done an object 'Get' for each of the frosted ones? When I build routes, I tend to use trees asthetically. By that, I mean I use them for their looks and don't check their pedigree. It is quite possible I've used some trees from down-under on my NA routes too.

As Pware says, how about some KUID numbers?

Good Morning JonMrylennBailey
Are they appearing with snow on them, or just without leaves?

Trainz supports both 'winter' and 'snow' settings for seasonal assets; these are very much separate things when talking about 'generic' content. If the snow-line setting in your environment settings is too low, then seasonal assets placed above the specified altitude will have snow on them.

If it's just a lack of leaves, then maybe try setting the date to around January and see if you see the 'correct' look. This may mean that your world origin is set incorrectly. The controls for the world origin are on the 3rd tab of the environment settings (same location as the toggle for turning traffic on/off).

Note, all seasonal assets should be setup pretty much the same for the 'date' of the seasons. Trainz will then handle when those seasons will occur (for northern or southern hemisphere locations).

Regards
