Help!! please i have a problem

Hi guys well i have just made a bloody good train layout on trainz 2010 its so good it could probs be a trailer for trainz i rekon.
Anyway iv just finished it and then i found out about trainz 2012!!! iv just made this great route but i want to buy trainz 2012 is there any possible way of getting my route onto the new trainz so that i can keep building on trainz 2012!
I dont want to use TS2010 now that i know TS2012 is out but i want my route to be on ts2012 so i dont have to go back to ts2012

G'day! :wave:

You can try this: Go into Trainz 2010 CMP, find the route you're building, right click it and go 'Save as CDP'. Next, go 'View Dependencies' by right clicking on the route, click 'View in Main List', select all of the dependencies and right click again, and press 'Save as CDP'. Try saving it as 'Route Dependencies' so you know what you are importing in CMP.

After you've saved them as CDPs in a folder you know, for example 'My Documents', go into the Trainz 2012 CDP and go 'Import CDPs' and import both of those CDP's you saved in the TS2010 CMP and press import, and there you go.

Hey thanks heaps for all that infomation lol can i just ask how do u do all of that do i need to have a special program or somthing like how do i find my route in my computer? and stuff lol im not a real great guy with computers but i do know abit. If you could just help me out there that would be great

True due to the fact of all the not legit version of trainz floating around and to know what you have.

Download help please?

I've got a new laptop, and installed Trainz2004, which I previously ran on my old desktop. I installed to the default location, and it runs fine.

Having installed it, I bought a First Class ticket on Download station, and chose a couple of downloads.

But every time I start a download I get a message 'Trainz is not installed on this machine, please install Trainz.'

I've uninstalled and re-installed twice but still get the message. Anyone tell me what I can do please?
