Any ideas how I can get a favourite loco to start working again?

BR Class s57XX 0-6-0T black

After working great for years on 2006, it has now stopped functioning. The problem seems to be that a dependancy kiud 46219:75 has become faulty? The author is noted as Jonny211. Can this error be fixed as this is an excellent model and it would be a shame for it to be lost.

Your advice much appreciated please

What do mean " seems to be that a dependancy kiud 46219:75 has become faulty"? Does this asset show as faulty in Content Manager? What is the fault that is listed for it?

I think you will find that kiud 46219:75 has dependices that have been updated to work in the newer version of trainz and now not suitable for 2006

The Kuid for the loco 46219:75 says there is a faulty dependency named in content manager as GWR 94XX dummy bogey - kuid2 46219:50090:1 The error comes up as:

Could not load texture 'C\Program Files\Auran\TSR2006/local/content e4bfq4s944/int=semitransparent'

The primary an alpha texture are not the same size for 'C\Program Files\Auran\TSR2006/local/content e4bfq4s944/black-black.texture.txt'

Don't know if this helps

The asset that is on the DLS does not show this error, and does not show 2 files required for black-black.texture.txt. I would recommend that you save your local version off to a CDP file, delete that local version, and replace it with a new version downloaded form the DLS.

Alternatively, you can open the asset for editing in Explorer, find the file 'black-black.texture.txt', open it in Notepad, find the two image files it refers to (primary and alpha), and then use you favourite image editing program to make these two images the same size. However, since that error should not be occurring for this asset, it is unclear what other problems there might be with the copy that you have.
