I tried to start a route recently called STAWELL and saved it. Then when i tried to leave surveyou it gave a message that it could not "Commit" and i would have to go to the content manager to commit it....but where do i find it then....I haven't worked out to add other base boards yet (not like 2004)
Can any one help please as i loved rout building in 2004.

I don't know why you couldn't name/save the route but to add another baseboard in Surveyor, click the Topology tab (or press F1) and at the bottom left of the pull out, click on Add ground (or press X). Then click beyond the edge of the existing baseboards.

It's probably in your open for edit tab in content manager.

Don't forget if Win7 or Vista you need to run Trainz as administrator otherwise it won't save things to disk properly.

Found how to add boards but it still wont save and i cant find it in the content manager, maybe ill install 2004 i know that it works ok.
as far as i know when i installed 2010 i used the administration set up.

The route should be listed in content manager with
the name you used to save it.

In CMP, click location for field 1
add field 2 as Catagory > Route

To the right, you can sort by date. Sort till the most
recent is on top... or bottom.

Your most recent save should be there.

A corresponding session is there too but will not show
if you select Catagory. Changing Route to Session in that
field will show the sessions.

Hope this helps.
