Hello Everybody!!!
Please help me . I want animated birds that start flying in the sky. Please are there any birds available.

it will take you closer to realism

I believe there are some hawks and eagles either built-in or on the DLS. These are older assets, though (going back to at least 2006) so they may not be functional if you are using a recent version.

ns

Here is one for "geese flying", <kuid:67261:35032>. Nice flock of geese flying overhead. There are also sound effects for geese on the ground. On DLS.

There are some good ones made by Neoklai who’s well known for many animated people and objects.

There are a few of his animated people on the DLS, but most of his stuff is third party.

The TrainzDepot site carries a lot of his downloads.

For his excellent birds try these:

Gulls

Ravens and Pigeons

thats all great but can i ask something why? like really ya driving a train a little thing like that really? who's going 2 notice flying birds?

People who look outside the train. The same people that notice a tree, a bush, a lake, a river, a house. Basically everyone with an eye for detail and/or open eyes.

Interior cab views are just one small part of the Trainz experience.

External views of trains passing through the landscape is also great fun.

These assets are particularly good when passing trains are viewed from track side cameras.

The sounds and animations can be very atmospheric, especially in rural scenes.

yeah i'm not saying that!!! but a bird as so small that it is & flying around it's not much of a must over a tress or a bush & so on maybe at a water dock yes where ya sunting or something but thats your choice to me it's awaste of time but that me :)

~snip~ to me it's awaste of time but that me :)
It all depends on how you place the animated birds in the landscape.

If you simply place them and have to go looking for such a small assets group, such as a few birds, when free roaming or other driver views it is probably pointless.

However, if you place them in front of a trackside camera they can be seen for as long as the train remains in camera range.

Here I’ve placed neoklai’s ravens above the train. They may not be too obvious in this still shot, but against a sky background, flapping their wings, moving around, and audibly squawking, they make a great addition to the atmosphere as the Orient Express moves through the shot.

They work well in a multitude of environments, all IMHO of course!
