Hello everyone! I'm a new user to the Trainz forums. I have Trainz Railroad Simulator 2004, 2006, and Trainz Driver Edition. I didn't see an Introductions forum, do i decided to post it here. I'm used to vBulliten also, so I don't need help with that. I really want to get Trainz 2010 soon, I can't wait until July 4th, which is my birthday! :D Well, I'll see you all around later. Bye!

EDIT: By the way, my username stands for the Union Pacific DDA40X engine, 6936, also known as the DD40X. Bye.

Welcome to Trainz! If you need any help with anything, don't be afraid to ask the community. One good place to start is to visit the forums often. Also try downloading some routes to see how everything works. Until next time, Nuni out.

Hey, thanks! Can I add you as a friend? :) Also, my scenarios won't save on TRS 2006, I'm running windows 7, and I think that may be the problem. :(

Hi. Welcome to the Best Place On Earth to Discuss Trainz!

Hi there 6936,
I am PereMarquette1225fan and I am named after my favorite steam locomotive is well, Pere Marquette 1225 and I am pleased to see a new comer to the exciting world of Trainz. As a still relatively new user to Trainz, I am pleased to welcome you aboard. We are an exciting bunch of people, both male and female and well you have entered the best Trainz forum on the whole planet. :D I hope I can help with any thing. If I know about the problem, I'll give you as much help as I can. But, everyone here are good people. Satisfiying their railroad hunger (so to speak) and satisifying everyone else's as well. Well, I hope you experience with Trainz goes well.
With regards,
Pere Marquette 1225 fan

Welcome to the Trainz forum. A lot of great/helpful members here. Browse the forums, grab some of the posted freeware routes (there are some amazing ones) and see how things are done. Questions, post away, as the community here is one of the best around.

I myself haven't had any issues running Trainz 2006, 2009 and 2010 in Windows 7, might just be lucky, though I mainly use Trainz 2010 nowadays ( love the layers option)

Cheers

Trent

Welcome to the addicting world of Trainz and the very helpful forums!

A bit of a fair warning about the sim. You'll notice days and weekends go away with nothing else attended to. Your chores will go attended, your wife will complain that you're not spending any time with her, and your time will be spent thinking about Trainz rather than your job when you're at work.

Don't be afraid to ask questions.

John

Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Take it from me, do not be afraid to ask questions. If you dont know what your doing, asking is the one of the fastest ways to find out how to do stuff.

Like me and my first ATLS experiences...:hehe:

Thanks, everyone! I can't find a help forum, can someone please link me to it if there is one, or tell me where to post? Thanks.

You're welcome!

In general there are different forums here for help in different areas.

For help with Surveyor and Driver, post in the Surveyor and Driver forum. Many people will post questions in the main forum, and the questions will get answered, but keeping like posts in the same forum is helpful for later searching.

Hardware-related questions. --- Parts and Labour. Use this for new builds, PC questions, general machine questions.

Game specific help. look for Maintenance for the version you need help with. People will also post for help in the General forums.

Anyway this is pretty much it. Ask whatever questions you want, hopefully we can help.

Hi I am Matthew Manson, born on the 10/10/1983 I have been a Trainz user for a long time, I kept things to mostly to myself and I am (Special Needs) and I live in the UK.

I do use Skype? please add me if you like but more chance I will be adding you for other reasons and support (so please do not judge me when you do not know me)

Users that already know me for sometime in the UK or USA or other places have got used to know what support i need and we do chat long a way and other departments, and know how I type.

I do learn and progress and I do get stuck from time to time.

I do need users from the UK to help me and there is not a lot of them floating about and online.

thanks

Matthew :D

Yo! It is moi...the person no one knows about. Thank god. Me name is Keaton and I am a route builder. I tend to stick with an organization called Sodor Island 3D, a Thomas and Friends community. Their stuff is top notch, I must say. I build routes for Trainz 2010, which happens to be the version you use! HA! It's not the greatest version, but she'll do for now. If you want, as said above, download some routes and engines and stuff. Get started in this! Look up "trainz routes downloads" or "trainz engine downloads" or something along those lines in Google, and you'll get started into a very big community who will help you along the ride. Cheers.
