As some of you may be aware, I have my own utility in the form of the PC Information Application.
The latest feature on it, which is still in beta stage, but should work OK, is the Patch Finder.
As long as the tool is run as administrator, it will be able to do it's job.
To use this new feature:
There is a couple of limitations though: it cannot install patches for most regional versions (apart from Just Trains) , and it cannot patch the Steam version.
Feedback is welcomed on this new feature - if it works well enough, I can bring it into the non-beta version of my application.

To use this new feature:
- Download the Beta version of my utility from http://shaneturner12.awardspace.co.uk/trainzdata/PCInformationApplicationbeta.exe. Make sure you save it to a folder, not run it directly from the site.
- If using Windows Vista or 7, right-click the downloaded file and click Run as administrator. If using XP or earlier, simply double-click the file.
- Once the main screen appears, click Patch Finder.
- Follow the three steps shown to download and install the relevant patch.
