I literally have no clue how to make a proper looking Port/Harbor.

I recommend looking at Google Earth.

Pick a place with a harbor, and have at it. There are plenty of dock assets including interactive ones as well as splines to fill in the places where scenery items don't work. For the track, you can use the street track, or rails meant for pavement.

Harbor lookin good.
But,
Please tell me those flags are permanently attached to the masts by the asset creator... The Navy blood in my veins seriously cringed at their placement. A Naval vessel in port will move "the colors" to the ship's fantail and raise the union jack on the point of the bow. Sorry for the Navy ingrained OCD.

I'm not Navy, and i cringe..The BB's have them at the front. id love to change them, but dont know how.

What assets are the ships?

Harbours have changed rapidly depending on the era, purpose, location etc. Photos and google earth/historical maps are your friend.

Most docks have far bigger spaces between docks. Normally two ships with space for tender boats to access the ships birthed.
