Happy Father's Day to all Trainz Fathers out there!

Euphod

No Friend requests please
Today is a special day in the US, one that honors Fathers. I hope all you guys that know the joy and pain of having children have a great day!

Ed, as far as I'm aware, I've never fathered a train. There are no plans to change this as I like to stay footloose and fancy free.

Same to you Ed.
It is also Fathers Day here, so happy Fathers Day to all who have been fortunate to have been blessed with young Trainzers.

A beautiful sentiment, Euphod. My four, two daughters and two grandchildren, took me to the California Railroad Museum for Father's Day. By gosh, I raised them well! :hehe: All had a good time, but as my grandson climbed into the cab of SP4274, which is about the size of my bedroom, I realized it was really about what they will do with the world when their time comes. So please add pride to the list of emotions, despite the realization that what they become is largely despite us dads, and humility at the same time.

Happy Father's day to you Euphod and other Trainzers. Although Father's day in New Zealand falls on September 2nd.

Cheers,

And a Happy Father's Day to all you begetters of progeny. I trust you had a fine day and were properly recognised and rewarded for your efforts.
I got a Kenington lock for my new laptop and a folding 'camp' chair (with proper recepticle for inserting cold beer can)! Of course, the mandatory cards spouting unappreciated humor, re: age, sex (or lack threoff), or retirement, seemed to sneak through the door.
The best gift; hugs and kisseses from lovely children, and a boatload of memories!
Regards to all Dad's..........

While I received none of the above from mine, I have to say the best card I saw on the internet simply said "Happy Father's Day Dad, thanks for killing all the spiders!"

Well, it's usually the Cheif Mate that sneaks in those cards reminding me of what was and will never be again!! Being 10 years her senior, it's been my fate to arrive at the station a tad before she does.
Of course, I then have the privelege to remind her she's a bit long in tooth to be puttin' on the boxing gloves!

And the kid's cards.......I have a collection I hold dear..........Some of which I'm still trying to figure out!
