Name at least SIX types of engines found in this yard, who built each, when were each built, and for fun guess the date of the picture and the location of the picture.

What is it, what was it originally (before MK rebuild), when was it scrapped, and what railroad owned it before the rebuild? Bonus if you can guess what the original railroad tested on it.

Rock Island (CRI&P) motor car, rebuilt from a...E-7B, maybe? I'm no judge of E-units, but it's obvious this one's been turned into a motorcar similar to an AB-6.

EDIT: found it, it's a modified E-6B.

Is it a Rock Island AB6? If so: Delivered to Rock Island in June, 1940. There were only two units made, and EMD especially made these locos for Rock Island.

EDIT: Ah Crap! I was writing all of this stuff about them when it was time for dinner, I forgot to send the post, and after dinner my brother kept me off the computer. Then my dad went on it and I logged back into my user and saw the Yrainz Discussion Forums were on. DANG IT!

Looks more like a tool car or some kinda funky caboose rebuild than a locomotive! All I can tell you is that it looks like it used to be a light electric and I think ALCO-GE made it.
