guess the LOCO game...

Dude i can see the edit but i posted before you edited it. Other wise to make shur that people know what to guess please refer to post #432.

Have a ball! DR:wave:

Sorry; it got a little complicated and I realized that I was out of turn after I posted.

Anyway, I'll guess Ben1337's loco to help move this thread along. I don't really have much time now since I need to go someplace, so I'll only guess the 7th and easiest question: the UK?

Yeah, technically, that is true but I was looking for the name of the line it ran on. (Eg: ECML,NVR etc. but take note that those are NOT the correct answer).:)

Added and edited: But Ill take that for an answer because it is, in its own sense correct.

(I'm back!) Okay, cool. I'll leave the other answers to other people that have more knowledge in UK railroading.

Ill go

This is going to be a hard one

What you have to guess is:
1.Class of loco (Both locomotive classes but I don't want to give away too many hints)
2.The company that made the class
3.The company that run the locomotive
4.What happened to E3018 (Exact details).
5.A list of the places which scrapped the locomotives.
6.The liveries.
7.Where they ran.
8.What locomotives they ran with (including locomotives that didn't work on the line and just seen at stations along the route).
9.Exact Specifications.
10.Voltages they ran at.
11.What they were used for.
12.Running numbers of the locomotives (both of them).
13.Proposed names.
14.When the rest of the class was withdrawn.
15.The only locomotive of its class that's still existing's number.
16.Where the locomotive is now.

Yes, I know all of those.:D

Looks like we have a genious on the forums... all of them are correct...

Here it is. This one is on the Medium level of difficulty.

*EDIT* HERE IS THE NEW Link: http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/2402/35521063608180.jpg

Here is what I want. I want the horsepower, torque, bogey configuration, railroad (FULL NAME), Manufacturer, Locomotive Name.

Also want these:
1. How many inverters does it have (TOTAL)?
2. Does it have dynamic brakes?
3. How many were built?
4. Are they still used?
5. What is the unique feature that this locomotive has? (HINT: It is a visual feature)

Have fun!

VREfan.

Same problem as it was back in guess the TRAINZ loco game. Wrong picture for the game. That is from inside trainz, this is for REAL locomotives.

Ha ha ha if you think about it right its funny!:hehe: he posts real locos in a Trainz guessing game, and he posts Trainz locos in a Real loco Guessing game, funny isn't it...Ok back to realty: VREfan please post a proper guess within 2 days, Thanks. DR:o

Ok that's better....umm i think its a Santa Fe GE Dash 9..?:o:hehe: DR:wave:

Nope. Thanks for guessing. NOTE: This goes for anyone who guesses. If you guess the correct loco, I will tell you. You will then need to provide ALL of the info I asked for in my fist post. The required info is as follows.

3800 HP, about 25000 ft-lbs, Bo-Bo, Atcheson Topeka and Santa Fe, Electro-Motive Division, GP60M

1. 0
2. Yes
3. 63
4. Yes, by BNSF
5. Wide cab

Correct you are. Only one wrong thing, but close enough, so you win. It has 2 inverters. EMD locomotives have 1 inverter per bogey for the traction motors. GE locomotives have 1 inverter per axle. Two answers were acceptable to #5. Wide cab was one, so I will accept that. The other one is the Offset Nose Headlight. Good Job. You now have 2 days to post a picture.
