I have had RRMods GP40s and SD35s for some time and they are only now starting to do this.
My question is What is wrong with them?

The error is very specific. You have one or more missing dependencies for the asset(s).

Shane

There are no missing dependencies on any of the GP40s and SD35s

The next stage is to check the Jetlog.txt file for a reference to the missing asset. It appears to be a sound asset, possibly a hornsound asset.

Shane

EDIT: Can you verify that both of the following assets are installed:

<kuid:261222:1042>
<kuid2:200202:53645:1>

What jetlog?
anmd its the air sound.
Locomotive sound effects library v1.05 was a problem before hand.

The Jetlog file should be in the TRS2006 main folder.

If you can, post the Jetlog file straight after the error condition.

Shane

It will be in the TRS2006 install folder, which is usually either C:/Program Files/Auran/TRS2006/ or C:/Program Files (x86)/Auran/TRS2006 if it's been installed in the default location.

Can you post the full Jetlog file if possible, as even though it mentions the error, it does not state the exact error, which is usually found just above the first line you quote.

I can see the issue despite Trainz not giving much information.

Basically, it's looking for a sound asset in the script file that it cannot find.

Is it worth checking http://rrmods.com/sounds.shtml?

Shane

wierd. they were working wedesday and they stopped working yesterday. I trid redownlaoding them and it didn't work. I don't know what else to do as the link is to horns and the only horn that works is the S3L. :( I don't know what else to do and as I read it, it has something to do with the airsound.

I think your best bet is to contact RRMods and find out which asset you are missing. Just out of interest - did you double-check that the asset is actually for TRS2006, and not a later version?

Shane

heres something that doesn't match up.

<kuid2:45324:54002:3> (2009+)

in the config it says <kuid2:45324:54002:1> but in the dependencie window it shows <kuid2:45324:54002:3>. :/
EDIT: Deleting <kuid2:45324:54002:3> shows missing dependecies.

I did read another thread of yours whilst waiting for your reply - have you tried the suggestion given to change the KUID so it's got :2 at the end and not :3?
