Grid problem

I have TANE 78667. I saved a Surveyor session. When I opened it I got a criss-crossed grid.

How does this happen? Does it cause a problem? Can I just texture over it?

There was supposed to be a screenshot showing the problem. Obviously I don't know how to post a screenshot. How do you do it?

Save your screenshot in an image program, upload the file to a service like hostthenpost (www.hostthenpost.org) and then post a link to the picture. Use the link option for bbcode.

When I push PrtScn the pic is sent to Screenshot review in TANE. I can't find it anywhere else on my computer. In Screenshot Review the only place it will let me send it is to TrainzPortal, which does me no good. I have Windows 7. ??????

The files are located in your c:\users\<your username>\Appdata\Local\N3Vgames\\TANE\<some build number>\Screenshots.

<your username> = your login to your PC.
<some build number> is the profile for the game and it has a random name such as build ldtk6uvt1

I've noticed what I believe to be an image showing the problem at http://www.trainzportal.com/mytrainz/view_media_post?media_post_id=4185. It looks like a rotation/scale issue to me.

Yup. This is caused by rotated and scaled textures that are either faulty or missing.

He can just paint over this with whatever texture he wants, or use the grid-texture from the DLS, and paint over the spots to fix the problem.

Shane, that pic in TrainzPortal was the one I was trying to post. From what you said it does not appear to be a major problem and I can just texture over it. Thanks all.

It's OK (it appeared that your screenshot did indeed upload onto TrainzPortal - you can get to that by clicking MyTrainz above followed by Trainz Gallery right at the top of that page).
