Grenery Website Scenery

Hi everyone, I hope all is well with all of you, I just have a quick question, Does anyone know how to get the Scenery from this website:http://www.greenery.name/mstsg/mstsg.htm not obsolete in TS12?

When you install them into TS12 they say that they are obsolete.

Select "Downloads", select "Trainz Simulator", select the set you wish to download. Note that there are two pages of downloadble assets.

The 'Obsolete Trainzbuild' warning can be ignored, it won't stop the assets showing up in-game. You might find transparency issues though caused by the way TS12 handles alpha channels and there's nowt you can do about that...

EDIT: Just occurs to me you could also be reffering to the way N3V obsoleted a lot of Trunda's content in TS12 causing them to be automatically replaced by speedtrees - there's nowt you can do about that issue in TS12 either, though there is a set of cloned Trunda trees on the DLS which can be used instead...

They don't show up in game though, and it's not N3V replacing them with speedtrees, they just don't show up.

Is this a case of needing Paintshed installed to get them to show? I used these a lot, they are very nice assets and they show in all my version.

Hi Angela - Paintshed is a requirement for some rolling stock, but not for trees etc.

@ josefdoc - I think there might be some confusion here - exactly where are they 'not showing up'? Are they listed in CM as installed, error free content? If yes, then they don't show in routes or menus in TS12 because N3V obsoleted most of them with speedtrees. If they don't show in CM then something else is amiss, but that doesn't really matter because even if they DO show in CM, most of them still won't appear in-game because of the 'obsoleted' thing.

Yes, that's exactly right. They won't show up in-game in Ts12 because N3V obsoleted them, thereby removing some of the best Alpha trees available from the game and more-or-less force speedtrees into existing routes as well. If you want to use Trunda's trees in TS12 you need to get olegkhim's clones from the DLS. They are exactly the same trees as Trunda's but have a '1' prefixed to the username. If you search the DLS for author "olegkhim" or username "1G:tree*" they should all show up....
