Gradient Indicator bugged?

I was driving a route. I forget the exact name atm, but it runs from Drexler, Montana to Mullan, Idaho through Lookout Pass. I had to haul some freight up and over the pass from Drexler to Mullan. On the way up, all the indicators looked good.

On the way back, though, they seemed to be backward. I clearly had a uphill grade, but the indicator showed negatove and the train acted like, accelerating way too freely. Once over the top, as you might guess, it showed a positive up gradient on the descending leg.

Here's a screenshot that demonstrates the problem as best I can.

Known issue, or maybe a route/session bug?

Thanks!
Dave

Hi Toyguy,

If you look at your DC controler panel you will see the train is traveling backwards. Grades are always reversed when traveling backwards, to fix this change the direction of the loco.

HI!
Sorry to hijack your thread but how do you turn that panel on? I saw it in a really nice layout but haven't found it since.

I'm talking about the panel below the DC controller.

I'm talking about the panel below the DC controller.

After loading the game select "edit session" then go to "main menu", "edit session", then click on "ADD"
at the bottom of the edit panel, scroll down until you find "Display Custom HUD" click on that, then click on the tick to close the panel.
