I remember there were a number of JR quality gp30's available from uslw is there any way for me to be able to get the ones that have disappeared?
 
Take a look at CloakGhost's models. The quality of his models are actually better than JR, though usually more expensive and, in the case of the GP30, lacking a custom cab.

The USLW content has all been restored to what we consider satisfactory and there have been a few content additions since. The misc bits that are 'missing' are either down by request so that replacements can be made or have been moved to JR.
 
there were conrail, penncentral, rdg, rdg with pc patch, pc with conrail patch, nyc, nyc conrail patch, nyc pc patch and a few others.
 
You forgot Demo, ATSF, PRR and PRR with trainphones. I have the PRR and NYC ones... Seriously regretting not gettig the RDG and Demo units. Also, the CG ones are of a really high quality, but they don't have a custom cab or sounds. The USLW ones were lacking a custom cab, and the sounds can be found on USLW, so replacing the default sounds on the CG ones should not be too hard. He also has a few more roadnames: NKP, the other two ATSF schemes, B&O, CB&Q, CGW, BN, C&O, GM&O, ICG, CNW, MILW, NS, N&W, RI, SAL, SOO, SP, UP, and WC.

Don't forget about the Western Maryland Scenic GP30's. They seem to have disappeared too. They were really nice so I don't know why they were taken down.
 
Because they were nowhere near "JR quality," which itself is a very ambiguous description because we are all improving all the time
