Goodbye

I've only been on here for a few weeks myself - and i've found people to be really friendly and helpful.

One person in particular (nexusDJ) was very kind in particular and helped me with some content i'd been looking for - even taking his time to create a file to make some content work on Trains 12 that was previously incompatible.

You just need to be patient. Not everyone knows the answer to every question - and if people don't respond to topics, its usually because they don't know the answer.

If people know - they'll help. :D

I like your style. Very nice post...

From an oldie

I have been following this for a while and would like to make a comment or two.

Firstly being called a silly name is not so bad. If you had to suffer the sort of personal abuse I did on here once just after my husband died you would know what it's like, very distressing. I hope that never happens to anybody again.
But I didn't stop working with Trainz so neither should you if you enjoy the program.

Next and as the Mac version has not been out very long there probably aren't very many people using it yet. That will change as time goes on I am sure.

Again, it isn't always possible for folk to reply very quickly because they may have work committments or be in a different time zone which would mean they don't see your post for anything up to 12 hours.

The key is patience. If people know what your problem is, and more importantly know a cure for it, they will respond.
Many people don't post at all. Considering the amount of assets I and many more like me create for free there are very few that bother to post a simple 'thank you', so you are not alone is lack of response.
But having said that I still create assets, not many posts won't stop me.

So I hope somebody will be able to help you very soon. Remember that being patient and polite is more likely to get help that being rude. If somebody was rude to you then you wouldn't like it and that works in reverse. Just keep calm and if no help comes from here then post a Ticket and mark it Urgent. That will go to the Helpdesk and to those who know about the programming within your Mac version. But they are also extremely busy so it may take time for them to read your plea for help as it is done on a strict rota I think.

I wish you good fortune and luck in getting whatever it is that is now bugging your machine.

Angela

Personally ... I can't think of any one reason, nor advantage, to go out and buy a Mac (or a Dell, for that matter) ... If you intend on playing a PC Game: Trainz
