A Swiss cocktail shaker.... (LARGE IMAGES)

Due to its the rather uneven acceleration and pronounced vibrations at high speed the RBe 4/4 earned itself the nickname "Schüttelbächer" (cocktail shaker). The fleet of 82 RBe 4/4's served the SBB for 45 years before they were gradually phased out beginning in 2005 then with their final UIC designation RBe 540.

Oh, that Swiss EMU was RENFE´s inspiration for create our 436 EMUS, "Suizas" or "Swiss" =P

Nice creations here, regards! ;)

Anyone any use for this sort of thing? I'll finish it and might even make a few more if there is a demand.

Can you tell what it is yet?:)

Nice work Jay! :D Just a suggestion: it might be a good idea to add some axles to the wheels and supports/a frame/etc. for the axles. It might look a little bit weird otherwise.

Regards.

Right-o, then.

I have made a start on skinning it.

@retro00064 - it looks odd without seats, too! It didn't just need a front axle - I had to add a sump as well - and brake drums. Still needs a few other bits - dumb irons, a luggage rack - and an interior....

Very British. Right out of Miss Marple. We desperately need more of this cathegory (and quality)

Does anyone have any experience with bringing stuff from google sketchup to Trainz. If so and if you are interested in doing 2 or 3 objects for the WIP Eagles Pass route. Please feel free to PM me. Thanks in advance....

Hear hear! My 1950s/60s country NSW routes look quite odd with only 1950s and 1960s cars around. Around that time old model cars were still quite prevelant, similar to how these days we still see a lot of 1970s Holden Kingswoods and Ford Falcons going around.

Ok, not far from finished now. Remaining windows to glaze, a few more details to add, and a bit more texture-tweaking here and there.

Anyone any idea what it is yet?
