just to offer a 3rd-party observation, the pilot looks like it flares out much farther forward than i've ever seen on an 1800's engine. maybe its just my "the way i think its supposed to look" stylized view of steam engines, but it just looks strange to me. please don't take offense to that, i don't want you to stop making the engine. (PS, is it going to be a third or second driver couple?)

The whole thing is eyeballed, so you might be correct. We'll see how it looks once I put a tender behind it and lay down some rails.

As for driver couple, it could be both. The whole thing is a base model with a bunch of interchangeable parts, allowing one to make many variations of locos.
