GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

It's coming along nice, isn't it? The RS3 has been the #1 loco I have wanted for so long. It's gonna be a real nice one, so I don't mind the wait since I know it's going to be awesome.

Hi Ron,
I don't often do a complete copy of a post but this one is worth every penny. great stuff here, truly amazing.

One thing perhaps you could advise me about please, is how can I get that Reflective base. I have spent all afternoon trying without any success and the Bible for gmax is about as helpful as a broken leg!

Blessings,

Angela

 Can you modify the end floor to a set of angle iron?

There is no solid sheet-plate over the perfectly formed center-sill you have.

obviously...

its not skinned yet either, and the ends are not like that either - oh wait, theres no point nitpicking it yet because its not done!

HELP!

Can anyone help me with this?

I need some help applying textures to this. I'm fine placing them on plain boxes like the grille on the back, but for more complex objects, like (obviously) everything with the Conrail and whatnot on it, I can't figure out how to get it on correctly. In the back just underneath the radiator, everything places fine, but the rest warps whenever you don't look at it straight on. Please help, and before anybody gets nitpicky about the model, it's my first engine in Gmax and yes I know some things are not "correct" on it. I will work on it more before I release it.
Thanks!:)

One thing might just be how you're viewing it. In the corner of the viewport where it says "perspective", right click that, and make sure "texture correction" is selected.

Finally was able to texture and get the bogies ready for import.
Also some little additions to the body, a few extra polys but oh well.
