GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

Just wondering if you're still working on the U-Boats?

Dave
Yes I am. For my first Gmax creation (other than some practice models) I don't think it looks half bad so far, but I do have a few complaints about the nose and front cab windows.
I should have some WIP pics soon on here if all goes to plan. And if you're wondering, my first model will probably be a Conrail U23B and maybe sometime in the future a U23C to go with it.;)

I don't know if I'll sound stupid or not by asking this, but how on earth do you take screenshots in gmax!? Just asking.:o

Use print screen then paste it into your favorite graphics program (paint, gimp, paint.net, psp, whatever) then save (usually) as a jpg format.

Autodesk® 3ds Max® 2011

Hi can anyone tell me if there are any exporters for Trainz availible for Autodesk® 3ds Max® 2011 and do I need any of the following rendering tools
V-Ray Advanced or Brazil or RenderMan or Mental Ray or Turtle

My understanding is that if you buy a "seat license" for another few hundred dollars they will ship you any prior version you need in addition to your purchase of the latest version, or in this case, 3dsMax9.

Hey Bricey,
I tried pressing print screen and it seems like it did something. I went into My Computer and looked in my Gmax file and Pictures but nothing came up.
Not really sure where to look to find them. Could use a little more info.

Thanks

When you hit PrtScr, the image is on your clipboard. Open up your graphics program and open up a new blank image. In Photoshop you would then look under edit and see that paste is available. Hit paste and the image will appear. You can only do one at a time.

Hmm, now you've got me wondering what that 0.1% is. :hehe:

Greetings from windswept Amsterdam,

Jan

0.1% is the MAX to be reached with workflow. 0.1=Workflow=+X(meshes)=?
If one then calculates the new Model production has the workflow again 99.9% in the production of many meshs.

Thanks, I think that should do it.:)
