Most viewers of my paintings have no problem with it.
There are also all JPG files.

Hmm, I too am unable to see any of Iceman's recent images (I used to see them but they stopped being visible about three months ago). I am using the latest version of Firefox, although as you point out, the browser is irrelevant because of the nature of the issue. I have looked carefully at the locations of the people noting this issue and have concluded that it seems to be only affecting us 'good folks' "downunder" - everyone else appears to have no issues. I guess directupload.net has some aversion to our wonderful country...
...I have also spent some time trying to make sense of that Google translation - all to no avail...

Hotlinks are at DirectUpload not forbidden, but it should be noted that one lives by advertising.
And that's why you are asked if possible to dispense with direct links.
It's a friendly request, but no compulsion.
Only now does nothing at your browser problem.

@Ice - as pointed out by Alanti your host dumps requests form distant regions to conserve bandwidth, frustrating for those of us who live below the equator, specially when there are so many better hosting services available....

Further to the above issue with iceman's images, more investigation has shown that I have not been able to see any of his posted images since page 50, the last visible one being this image...
...posted on 04/06/09 (July 4 2009) and that all previous such postings are without error. I am wondering if iceman has, perhaps, done something different when 'attaching' images since that point in time?

I can see them all clearly and I'm in Warragul. Who knows what is the prob? Mabye its some computers that have the problem, but not others?
