Not nessisarily, I'm using up to date technolgy to bring NYCTA content for this simulator up to standards. The previous box with stickers you experienced...well you might as well have been playing flight sim 98

You are right, at the time it was top-notch and I did myself enjoy his work. But after looking at the possibilities, and comparing them to what could have been done, I cant look at his work now the same. How ever I dont have much say until I actually release the product, so I'll save the trash talk till then hah

I wouldn't know about that. I remember I did build this in card stock at the time I first got the magazine. And the magazine actually had plans for two different service stations. So that you could model the days when there seemed to be two opposite each other on nearly every street corner.

If you take the shadows out of the original texture you get a better render because your render is producing its own shadows.
