I know this is really crappy, and it's not the best. But here it is.

This is a fictional SD25, cause I don't really like following prototypes that much. This is modeled in Google Sketchup, and will not ever be used in Trainz. I put this on here for a reason, feedback. So, comments?

Not "crappy" at all. Looks good so far. Keep going with it and see where it takes you. Not everything has to be prototypical. The best part about modelling is using the imagination.

Love, Live, Grow.

Have fun,

Heres a quick thing i made in Sketchup, just for fun, i forget which type of (valve gear?) it is.
Its on some old steamers that i have in trainz and i decided to make it.

Thanx, blender, do I have to pay for that? :hehe: Well, the measurements are FAR off from perfect. I tried gmax, hate it. I like sketchup's interface, if you will. How is blender?

Blender is absolutely free, available from blender.org
It can be used to create amazing models like the one above that skol587 is creating.
When you read some tutorials and get to know the interface and menu's, Blender becomes easy to create accurate models.

Cheers
