Since I've only got a few more days of 3ds left at home and I've finished all the rendering I needed to do for the 58, I thought I'd turn to something completely different: This is the beginnings of my living room, modelled to centimetre accuracy (I've even scanned the placemats, to funny looks from my family)

Although it's far from perfect (the window being completely black is most obvious) I'm proud of how far I've got in the last year. it was about this time that I was completing Paul Hobbs's tutorials and starting to make my own way with GMAX.

Hi pellet :)

Yep I'll be making a 333 skin for it, right after I've figured out what (if any) the differences are between the two units. A quick glance suggests it's just the interiors but there may be more to it.

I'm not 100% certain it'll get a TRS release (I'm building it for Rail Simulator) but I thought I'd post it here as it's certainly a possibility.

Cheers,

JB

the first 4 332's are 3 car, as are the last 5, whilst all of the rest and all of the 333's are 4 car

yeah, the seating arrangement is different in both

The 333's are also a slightly different size

332:
23.63/23.35 x2.75m
333:
22.95 (outer ends)/22.90 (PTSO)/23.35 (TSO) x2.57m

332 formation:
001-007 DMFO TSO PTSO (TSO) DMSO
008-014 DMSO TSO PTSO (TSO) DMLFO

333 formation:

DMSO PTSO TSO DMSO

apart from that, yeah basically the same

If you do feel like you want to release it for trainz....!

Lovely work there tommy. I think it's just missing one vital item. A box of Yorkshire Tea.:D:D

i wish i could use modelling systems, i like all the stuff you guys make!

I'll second that! The way some of these fellows go away and come back 1/2 hour or hour later or something close and have an awesome model makes me entirely jealous :( :(

I as well have to agree,I could show what I've done but they would be a box and a cylinder:hehe: :o

Here comes another Crappy (according the the majority of the modelers here, or at least those who have shared their opinion with me) sketchup model

Nice work everyone, someday I'll click that gmax icon that's been gathering dust on my desktop!

And I'll make the worst looking box you'll ever lay your eyes on.:hehe:
