I was thinking the very same.. looks alright to me.. maybe it's a small failure somewhere on the model, like with a light or something..
It's actually an LNWR Alfred the Great 4-cylinder compound.

LNWR Locomotives(Unless I'm mistaken) are short in numbers for Trainz, the more the merrier, especially for those pre-grouping routes..

That looks awesome Ed! Totally unexpected, too. I have no doubt it will be as every bit as fantastic as your previous locomotives.
The LNWR isn't doing too badly, off the top of my head I can think of:
rexeljet's Claughton and Coal Tank
The Super D
The one in the PLL pack
The loco that later got sold to Ireland (I can't remember the name or class)
edh6's Alfred the Great
Now try finding decent pre-grouping NER or Hull & Barnsley locomotives for Trainz...apart from Camscott's Q6 and a couple of PaulzTrainz locos, there is nothing.

Been away from the fourms lately due to work, study ect; but here is a little snipet what I am have been working on on and off for a while. A detailed model of Alderely Railway Station, on Brisbane's Ferny Grove Railway. Hopefully this along with other items; would allow the complete finishing off the layout to be released in due course.

Pretty sure they were built between 1901 and 1903.
My appologies, I wasn't ignoring you, I just didn't spot the question earlier. As Chris says these locos were first built in 1901 based on a very similar design from 1897.
