Nothing much just using inventor to create an accurate measured model before I import over to 3DS Max for rendering and use.

Working on this to learn how to create acurate objects to import to 3DS Max before exporting to trainz to see if the measurements are close to the tolerances I want.

Insanity is breaking through...I rebuilt the drivers pretty majorly today and can hardly tell the difference between the new and the old! :o

Well, it's no ten track swimming pool, but I've managed to do some stuff in Blender over the past few days. It's a start but hopefully something will come of my efforts to modify Ben Neal's models:

That NP 4-6-2 looks nice, I love the headlight. That engine has quite a resemblance to Soo Line 2719 masquerading as the DM&IR 403, and 2719 on its last runs (still with the old style light). The bell on the mountain looks nice too.

Cab has been altered for a front window and different sidewall shape, vacuum braking has been added and the lamp bracket has been removed.

You got some, although the lamp socket has been swapped not completely removed (it's hard to see against the background)

Also the tanks are larger, the smokebox diameter has been reduced, the stovepipe chimney has been swapped for capped one, the handrails are a different shape, there are new builders plates and the smokebox dart has become a wheel.

Boston Lodge really knows how to rebuild something, things come out very differently to how they went in!

That bell should look nice! After all, Dan made it :hehe:. Anyway, I tried adding as much stuff onto the mountain as possible, including converting it into a heavy mountain.

Jackson is that a mighty T&P Texas (600) or 4-8-2 (900)? Whatever it is it looks a lot like the 610, which I love.

Thanks for the idea, but that is gonna definitely be a hard no. Right now, I'm just starting out, and already I have a bunch of stuff on my list, including a NP 4-6-2 for a friend, some DL&W stuff, a bunch of LE&E stuff to represent my classes of 2-8-2s and 4-8-2s, and some C&HR stuff for Taylor. Too booked up to even consider T&P stuff, which is out of my region anyway.

If ya want T&P 2-10-4, I'd highly recommend Colorado71's exquisite model that he sells on his website.

EDIT: It's actually a class of LE&E 4-8-2 Mountain that I'm working on right now. Which class it actually is will be determined once I progress through the rest of them :hehe:.
