GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

That valve gear is sublime... Outstanding.

Jack

Thanks. I am still adding a few nuts, bolts and lock pins before it is completely correct. The animation is done - haven't exported it yet - and I am making ready for getting the brakes set up correctly as well. If only I could do scripting as well, then I would have the valve gear and brakes respond to keyboard commands.

And here is the locomotive upon which the valve gear is fitted: DSB Litra F

Still very much work in progress.

Wow that 0-6-0T looks neat. Very shiny, and it does have an Auucucraft look,Mai think it's the gloss. It makes me wish there was more Swiss/German Rack locos.

This one is a humble Danish switcher though. But as many of the early DSB locomotives it has German roots.
As for the gloss, the surviving units are kept in immaculate shape and they DO actually shine like this. In their active years they looked more grimy, but that will have to wait until the mapping is complete.

Oh yes, but I do love that a lot of preserved locos are so shiny, it shows that their owners care so much, and put so much time to keep them clean. I would hate to see such a pretty and shiny tank engine in only grubby paint.

G'day!

I needed a particular sign for a route I'm working on, so I cooked this up in about half hour. :)

Cheers!

Jake.

Hi Yojimbo
Oh what can I say
the loco I drove for many years finally will come to trainz
I was assigned on Islands Brygge with F loco or some time
I had a Q loco 080
Before we left the depot we always had to clean the Danish
colors on the locos smokestack .The Kings Order

Tonny jeg vil meget gerne vide mere om både F og Q og du får selvfølgelig en beta, så snart jeg har den på sporene. Hvis du har billeder fra førerhuset vil jeg sågar bygge specifikt med det nr. du kørte.

Hey whitepass, Would you be willing to make one in Northern Pacific Loewy Two-tone green? I've been trying to get some for my Promo for an NP locomotive.

I know right? I've got some HO scale models of Walthers Pullman Lightweights in that scheme. Now I need it for My NP A-2 4-8-4 video.

Slowly coming along. I'm a perfectionist kinda. Not as good as Trainboi here, but I've been doing a lot of centering up, and going by what drawings I have.

Wow, the Manx tank is spot on, well done! I was lucky enough to actually travel on the IoMR today, behind No.13 "Kissack", and it is a line quite unlike anything else I have ever visited.

@edh6: Gorgeous locomotive Ed! One question, I noticed that some of these locomotives have skinnier, tall chimneys and a few have a short, fatter chimney. Do you intend to model these variations, by any chance?

The tops of the chimneys are all at the same height above rail level. However there are three different sizes of boiler fitted to the locos, along with two different driving wheelbases forming four distinct classes. Eventually I hope to cover all the variations, but it could take some time!
