GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

The signs were a 3DS/Maya render, then in game, now in closed beta. The building still has some work that needs doing.

Hey guys,

here's a shot from my current project: A 20m / 65,6 ft. turntable from Eilenburg (near Leipzig in Germany).
Once finished it'll join the ensemble on Chris route "Bf. Eilenburg" together with Christians switch tower.

Cheers

@petrama25; Nice Budd; I do not suppose you would be interested in doing a Q.R Budd 1900 Class Railmotor

@ Peter, not to worry; you were not the only person watching the cricket as I had money riding on Australia which turned out to be a great game with Clarke becoming man of the hour and what a way to end your career on a high not a low. The bogie progress is looking rather great, I hope you were able to receive my bogie drawings as I might get them done in one go instead of one by one. I will finish off my B13, then move onto either my B17 or BB18; at this current stage I would lean towards the B17 as there is no decent narrow gauge version and I got the source files to the driver bogie.

@mcguirel, nice maple tree; I trust I could interest you into doing a suitable speedtree version of a mango tree. On Queensland routes, they were everywhere and always welcome to hungry passengers on the long mail train journeys. On long closed railways, you could always pin point where a station or siding was because a single mango tree.

Can anyone take a blind swing as to what this model is? Probably not, as it's still a WIP. There are no support beams, doors, vents, markings, etc...

This is my first export-geared Blender project, so sorry if I've missed some things (for those of you who've identified the van)...

QR C17 1950

Hello Everyone,

After much careful thought and due to the problems scanning the ARHS Bulletin 1979 editions with the B17 at the Queensland State Archives which failed to save on my USB, I have reverted to the moment to finish off my QR NG C17 1950-1953 'Brown Bombers' named after the last 40 engines, N°961 to N°1000, were fitted with roller bearings and painted brown. The name refers to Joe Louis, American Heavy Weight boxer from 1937 to 1949 whos nickname was 'The Brown Bomber'.

Rockhampton Down Goods, C17 964 - 1 November 1966

Middle stages of mesh, detailing and texturing of the model. - Big thanks to Dr. Greg Cash many years go for allowing myself to use parts of his C17 mesh, which some have been used as part of my model. I will update old meshes as I go along to suit the diagrams.

I shall be doing Central Division locomotives first with others later, to be compatible with my QR NG Central Division route in Trainz 12. I have acquired a roster dated 1958 of all steam locomotives that were Rockhampton based from each class. Due to the fact this will be a new model, I will be making new drivers due to the absence of the QDR NG C17 drive for the class, about time I took on locomotive animation for myself.

With Regards,

M.Gitsham
