Hey all,

Has anybody noticed the 'Highly Inflammable' lettering?

G'day All,

Indeed, this is correct. In fact, the one word is often used in dictionaries to define the other. Leaving Trainz aside for the moment and speaking as an amateur etymologist, I suspect the 'issue' arises from, as "Opus722" has indicated, the "inconsistency" in the English language of the use of the prefix "in". Certainly, where it is used in those words selected as examples in their post, it has a 'positive' connotation. However, it is equally used (if not more so) in such words as "inconsistent", "insufficient", "intolerable" and (particularly significant in this case) "inexplicable", where it has a distinctly 'negative' connotation. This, not surprisingly, creates a great deal of confusion. I also suspect that the use of the prefix in this case has arisen from "common usage" in modern times (rather than any 'proper' etymological source) and the word "flammable" (whose original source is the Latin word "flammare" - meaning, to set on fire) ought to be used in all cases. I will now doff my "amateur etymologist's" hat and return this thread to its proper course...

G'day All,

...along side my "etymological musings" (see above), I have been very busy putting textures on my "VR TT" wagons. As it turned out, finding a suitable photo-realistic image upon which to create the required timber texture was not as difficult as I imagined it would be. As a consequence, I am now ready to share these with you all...

...which is the 'original' release to traffic version of the #1 unit...

...the 'original' release to traffic of the units numbered #2 through #31...

...which shows the modifications to the #1 unit after 1933...

...and finally, the #2 to #31 units after that same year...

...which I think, are ready for export into Trainz. If S301 'sights' this post, I would ask, Zec, if you know of a suitable existing VR freight vehicle (in Trainz, of course) that has loading and unloading capabilities (i.e.: M.I.N.), animated doers (tied in with that M.I.N.) and utilises the "VSS" for various attachments, which I might use as an example from which to create the config.txt files for these assets?...

I see hundreds of these things go by every day so I decided to come home and rework one of my old hoppers while trying out some weathering.

Jerker,
That van is Awesome(capital A intended).

MeowRailroad,
The Metra F40PHM-2 was released when originally "completed", however it is not currently available for download as far as I know, and it has been subject to many valuable updates since then in any case. I personally look forward to the re-release of the crossings as they are some of the most valuable items Ryan ever made(at least, they are to me).

I would check today's JR releases for my crossings, with some new things included.

Decided it was time to "try" and learn the walschaerts animations. Attempt one did not go so well...
