GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

Fyansford Cement Co. 3'6" track that was near Hernehill, Geelong and would run through Moorabool, this track was also used at Yallourn Power Station by the SEC.

Built as 75lbs/y 10 sleepers per 23'0" track lengths, wonder if this would also be suitable for Queensland Modelers to use?

Cheers.

The locomotive is just too small. I was hesitant about using a B class cab for fear it would go through the track in cab view. The cab is around about 3-4 feet tall as far as I can make out.

I scaled one of the Y Class 0-6-0's into 7 1/4 gauge, didn't quite work out in trainz either, the cab was half in the dirt when you go to interior, and the a.outside views made it look like your inside the boiler, or looking through the mesh.

You ought to try you hand at some American ride-on style locomotives next, Trainboi! She looks amazing. (and not sure about the cab either: most successful cabview I can remember seeing is actually on an MSTS loco: The driver is modeled on the tender, and when you're in cabview the camera is basically mashed into the guy's face, so you look like you're in his body looking out from under his baseball cap driving the loco...)

The first one is an NREX unit, formerly a SD40/45T-2 that had its radiator section replaced with that of an SD40. It's also a trailing unit only, they have it set up to only trail.

I do about as much as I can. Got some Great Northern stuff coming up too.(US Great Northern that is, all about Belpaire fireboxes. Even the mallets!)
The main trouble is that it's so hard to find US drawings. I mean, I got this, some GN items, but other than that most of it either doesn't have plans that I can access or has already been made. I do have drawings for a Texas & Pacific switcher around to, but haven't scanned them.

Slowly progressing with the 'type 2' DD's. Just finished up the weathering on the second black loco (the final loco in the pack) :)

Very happy with the weathering on this one. Sits very nicely as an absolutely filthy loco :)
