GMax and 3DSMax (And any other modeling program) screenies/renders

Thanks everyone. I'm very happy with how this is going. I just wish I wouldn't stare at my desk top so much.;) (there is a render of my 44 tonner on my desk top) I only have 2 things I need to add to the outer body, mesh wise, and that part is done. (I'm sure I'll find something else I need to put on it) Other than that it's all texture work. Truck mesh is done. Just need to map and animate them. Custom cab view mesh is about 60% made and 40% mapped. It's getting closer.

Still a lot of work to do on this. But it gives the basic impression.

Yes, you do! I remember riding the Highliners back in '05. I really liked them a lot, the IC Highliners were definitely one of my favorites. Do they still operate these older variants? I'm going back up to Chicago in August, so maybe I will get another chance to see them.

I built that model yesterday, it only took me a couple of hours to do. It was built in sketchup, I'm still refining it though. For now, it isn't going to have a visible interior however.

Anything Metra in Trainz is awesome. However, most renders of Metra are never put into Trainz (MP36, F40PHM-2, F40PH, Cabcars, etc)
They still use the old ones, but they are getting new electric cars similar to the non-electrics. I am not sure if they are getting rid of the old ones completely.

P.S if there is evar a Beta, please give it to me! :D

Okay I figured they were still running them; I didn't want to be too certain though in case I was wrong. And yes, I do know the history of Metra content not making it out of the workshops and into 'revenue' service, as it were. Not making any promises though, I am also interested in the Nippon-Sharyo cars as well. I know South Shore also runs them. I recommend you look at my 'original Highliner' thread, that's probably going to be the best place to discuss it further!
