Hi all,

looking good Transportfan, keep them coming.

There are a couple of weighbridges available on the DLS based on Australian types.

The large one is kuid2:97008:29907:1 and is renamable.

and the small one is kuid2:97008:29908:1.

Cheers,

Bill.

Those are good scales, but they look like public highway scales. A "CAT" Scale is a private scale found at some truck stops where truckers can weigh their trucks to see if they are legal. If not, they take the backroads.

Hi Transportfan,

Re; "CAT Scale"

You learn something new every day, in Australia the smaller one I made

are normaly private scales and usualy placed close to a country rail station.

Cheers,

Bill.

I am just generally looking for a good scale to put at a Quarry, which is served by truck/rail. I know that before a truck leaves, it's weighed, to see how much the person buying the stone has to pay, etc. etc.
Thanks again.
Sean

May I give You my opinion as an hint? In this way you avoid open edges:

Nevertheless it seems a very good model. Very cool. A new "must have".

Wow, very nice Paul! That is a sweet looking loco!

FSP. As it is, it isn't my mesh... It's billegulla's, I'm just doing the TS09 version. Having stuffed around in that region (smoke deflectors) doing the textures, the lack of a join there doesn't bother me too much. That said, I will certainly keep that in mind when I make my own models :)

Hi Zec --

"The 'brass' A2 ... ."

Looks good.

I actually think there should be brass models for download.

Note:
There is some amazing and outstanding work in this thread.

I just wish some would see the light of day (well, a virtual day).
